How to make Iced Tea

Ice Tea

For making that restaurant/ cafe style ice tea pour your hot tea directly over ice, this way the flavour gets locked in immediately and tea will stop cooking further. We recommend 1-1.5 quart of ice when making a gallon of tea.

Cold brew

If you don’t want to use heat to prepare your tea, there is an alternate way too. Drop a pot tea bag or mesh ball in a pitcher full of water and leave it overnight in the refrigerator. Once ready, take the tea bag out and ta-da! your tea is ready. This doesn’t include heat at all so you can avoid potential bitterness from over cooking the tea leaves. All you have is a cup full of flavour!
